GTA - San Andreas - Snapshot Guide - All 50 - 1 of 2

Ok, this is an easy route for collecting them all. :) This path is very linear, so it's hard to miss snapshots. And with these stopping locations,you can often get 2-4 at one location. And don't have to travel too far for just one usually. When getting a snapshot, it helps to take note of the object that it's on. :) (That makes it easy to remember.) Some are in the "air" (like the one on the bridge south of San Fierro,) but most of them are on an object. :) The keys are the stopping locations, and the objects you use to zoom in on, or where you focus or aim the camera. Some snapshots (like the one across the river from the San Fierro airport) are hard to get from there, so I stand next to a particular object and use a marker in the distance to line up the shot. For that snapshot (#5), it's the pole, and the rock behind the bridge. Also, thanks to OrionSR for showing that the snapshots could be taken from farther away. :) OK, FOR SOME OF THE SPECIFIC SNAPSHOTS: (This is according to the video, and not a particular walkthrough.) #3 is on those 2 tanks, somewhat towards the base from that area or perspective. Its a cargo transporter and its cargo bay is so large it can hold most of the assembled components of a Boeing 747. The Russian space shuttle Buran can be attached to its back for transport as well. The aircraft at 1:23 is the Orlyonok ekranoplan, which as of October 2007 is in the process of being restored for an upcoming Russian aircraft exhibition in Moscow. (Or at least, that's what I've read on the net.) There are thought to be maybe one or two other surviving Orlyonoks besides this one. The aircraft at 7:35 is the Lun ekranoplan, which is based on the KM 'Caspian Sea Monster', but smaller. The Joker, the nickname given by the crew to one of the 72 ton, 40 foot long Assault Breacher Vehicles. "The Joker" is seeing its first combat duty in Operation Cobra's Anger in Afghanistan. ABV's are fitted with a plow and nearly 7000 pounds of explosives. The Breachers are the Marines Corps' answer to the deadliest threat facing United States and NATO troops in Afghanistan, thousands of land mines and roadside bombs aka improvised explosive devices, that litter the Afghan Taliban region. The Breachers are metal monsters that look like a tank with a cannon, carry a 15-foot wide plow supported by metal skis that glide on the dirt, digging a safety lane through the numerous minefields laid by the Taliban. If there are too many mines, the Breachers can fire rockets carrying high grade C-4 explosive up to 150 yards forward, detonating the hidden bombs at a safe distance so that troops and vehicles can pass through safely. The detonations, over 1700 pounds of Mine Clearing Line Charge, send a sheet fire into the air and shock waves rippling through the desert in all directions.
