Machines of Iron revisits Ukraine in the fall of 1996 when the countryside is resplendent in autumn colors and the air is filled with locomotive steam and smoke. A special steam excursion is the reason for our visit, and we travel aboard a comfortable passenger train behind several different Russian locomotives including a 0-10-0, doubleheaded 4-6-4s, and the most modern Russian steam locomotive, the P-36. Enjoy lots of color and culture, as we travel to this country rich in history. Our trip includes sightseeing trips to Kiev and Moscow
